We are offering the chance to our readers to write for our newsletter and website.
Every week we reach out to 100,000 subscribers online and then countless more viewers, via our website.
In each edition of our newsletter, we review between twenty and thirty new phones, devices and laptops. These are also archived on our website.
Do you want to help share your technical knowledge with our readers?
We are looking for between five and ten, fresh new reviewers to regularly contribute to our reviews.
The reviews we are looking for are between 300 and 500 words each and should be clearly written in good English.
All our reviewers will be issued a strict criteria on which to score and judge the devices, which they have been assigned to review.
As well as personal feeling, we need to score the phone, tablet or laptop against a checklist of features, for ease of comparison.
In addition to this, we require each review to be accompanied by several quality images, captions and snappy sub headings.
We pay competitive rates for the best reviewers.
This is also an excellent opportunity for up and coming writers and reviewers to contribute to a respected site and build up their online presence.
The only thing we can’t offer is free tech! All gadgets must be returned after the review period is up!
Our newsletter and website has an exciting new vacancy for a Features Editor. This is a new position which has only just been created.
In addition to our smaller reviews, we are looking to feature some longer and more in depth pieces. These are both going to be longer product reviews, covering detailed reviews of phones, laptops and other tech and additionally, other lifestyle pieces.
From January 2018 we will be bringing a new look to our website and that means the inclusion of items such as interviews, with designers and companies.
We are looking for someone with a proven track record in journalism and/ or IT to join our friendly team.
Ideally, you will already be producing copy or reviews for a technical publication – either online or in print. If you are hoping to step up and make the transition from staff writer to editor, this could be the opportunity you are looking for.
To apply, please send a brief covering email to our editor in chief, outlining your current role and your experience in the field.
We will contact successful applicants for more information.
