LENOVA YOGA BOOK
STORAGE: 64GB SSD – 128 GB MICRO SD
SCREEN: 10.1 INCH
CPU: INTEL ATOM X5-Z8550
This is a brilliant combination of a laptop and a tablet and at a price that can please.
The screen resolution is fab, although the screen itself is relatively small at 10.1 inches. Films look great in HD and you won’t be disappointed with the sound quality either.
This has a digital keyboard, which might have purists worrying about the ability to type on it – but fret no more. This handles just as well as traditional hardware keyboards do and typing is every bit as easy on it.
Downsides are the mediocre power and battery life. All the same, for the price we think it is worth the trade off.
ASUS ZENBOOK UX310UA
STORAGE: 256 GB
SCREEN: 13.3 INCH
CPU: INTEL CORE i3-i5
SIZE: 12.7 W X 8.78 D X 0.72 H INCHES
This is a thin and lightweight laptop which wakes up fast and looks beautifully sleek, with its aluminum body.
The Asus notebooks have improved massively in the recent years, so much so that we think we could call it a successor to the MacBook Air.
This notebook is not short on USB ports and charging options. There’s a USB 3.0, 2 USB 2.0 sockets, an SD card reader, headphone jack and a USB C port.
The screen’s resolution is pretty impressive and we think you won’t be disappointed with the quality of the display.
On the keyboard side of things, the track pad may take a little getting used to, as does the keyboard. But once you are used to it, you should be alright.
APPLE MACBOOK PRO WITH TOUCH BAR
STORAGE: 256 GB-1 TB
SCREEN: 13.3 INCH
CPU: DUAL CORE INTEL i5-i7
Sleek, slim and beautifully designed. Of course, this is going to be expensive, so don’t expect otherwise.
Besides that, though the Macbook Pro will not disappoint in any way, we feel.
Insanely thin in its design, the keyboard is still usable, although might take some getting used to for comfort.
The speakers are as good as you would be expecting, but more besides considering that they are fit into a skinny, tiny, space.
The OLED display is responsive and takes a certain amount of glare in its stride, but perhaps not so much in strong sunlight.
All round, the Macbook Pro may not be cheap, but it always going to be worth it in terms of quality.
